Junction2 hosts Live Street Art Pop-Up in Noosa Junction

In collaboration with Threads Project and Junction Laneway, a community arts project was held to promote street art in under-utilised spaces in Noosa Junction. Local artists were supplied boards to showcase their talents which was displayed on Laneway wall outside the Junction 2 co-working space. Live music featured in what was great day to watch some amazing local artists who kindly donated their time and cans for the event.

This was the first initiative to try and bring less "mainstream" style art to the community in an effort to remove the stigma attached to an artform synonymous with "graffiti vandalism".

Noosa Junction has seen a steady increase in "tags" which hurts artists trying to make a living doing what they love.
