If you are considering launching a startup, or have an idea for a startup, the Startup Onramp program is for you.

Startup Onramp founder Colin Kinner, who specialises in providing strategic advice to organisations supporting innovation, entrepreneurship and early-stage investment says “the program’s core mission is to help people make the transition from employee to entrepreneur, and to give them a solid grounding in how to start a successful tech company”.

Shark Tank’s Steve Baxter and QLD Chief Entrepreneur backs the success of the program. "As an investor I expect startup founders to have a solid grasp of the basics. The Startup Onramp program provides that and a whole lot more, and it's delivered by people who really know their stuff."

Kinner held a training camp in Brisbane last month for the facilitation team comprising of 10 regional precincts, who will be rolling out the Startup Onramp program across Queensland this month. Jacqui Price, having proven success in previous local accelerator programs, has been appointed the lead Facilitator for the Sunshine Coast’s first Startup Onramp program. The 12-week program will help accelerate the next wave of startups to help generate more jobs for the Sunshine Coast and strengthen the rapidly expanding entrepreneurial innovation ecosystem in our local area..

Jacqui recently delivered the Innovation Centre’s GrowCoastal Food Accelerator program and brings extensive product commercialisation experience to the role. Jacqui will be supported by Gary Swanepoel, Co-founder of Junction 2 Coworking and Founding Board Member of Innovate Noosa, along with Coby Sullivan, Regional Innovation Coordinator for #SCRIPT.

Register today for the two upcoming Information sessions to be held at the Innovation Centre Sippy Downs on Wednesday 12th September and at Noosa’s Junction 2 Coworking on Tuesday 18th September, both from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
